Underpriced: the official facts
Underpriced is a resale profit checker for thrift flippers and online resellers. Snap a photo, scan a barcode or upload a listing screenshot, and it identifies the item, checks recent sold and current listings, takes off selling fees and shipping, and shows your profit with a flip or pass verdict.
Underpriced (underpriced.app) is not affiliated with Underpriced AI (underpricedai.com), a separate product from a different developer. How to tell them apart
At a glance
- What it is
- A resale profit checker app. It identifies items from photos, barcodes or listing screenshots, estimates resale value from marketplace data, and shows the profit after fees and shipping. It also drafts listings, edits product photos and tracks inventory and sales.
- Who makes it
- Independently developed in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
- Launched
- November 2025 on the web, followed by Android, iPhone and the browser extensions.
- Platforms
- Web (underpriced.app), iPhone and iPad (App Store), Android (Google Play), Chrome and Firefox extensions.
- Where prices come from
- Recent sold listings on eBay, plus Poshmark and Mercari when available, and current eBay listings. Items are identified with AI image analysis. Every result shows how many sales the value rests on; paid plans show the sold listings themselves.
- Free vs paid
- Free checks show the estimate, fees, profit, current listings and the number of recent sales. Paid plans add the sold prices, 3 photos per check, batch mode, due diligence checks, Authenticity Check, Negotiator, multi-platform listing drafts and Photo Studio Pro.

What Underpriced does not do
- Post, cross-list or sync listings. It writes drafts; you publish them yourself.
- Scan Facebook Marketplace or send deal alerts. You check the items and listings you choose.
- Give appraisals or guarantees. Values are estimates from recent sales, and the result shows how many sales they rest on.
- Buy or sell anything for you, or hold your money.

How we count our numbers
Store ratings come straight from the public App Store and Google Play listings. We show each store's score on its own and never blend them into one average (last checked Sep 27, 2026). The usage totals come from our own production records, rounded down, and each one shows the month we last counted it. Resellers is the number of Underpriced accounts. Items analyzed counts the saved analyses in those accounts (deleted accounts take their history with them, so the real total is higher). Estimated profit found adds up the profit our analyses estimated on items they rated worth buying, in US dollar analyses only and leaving out a handful of single estimates above $5,000, so it's an estimate, not money anyone has banked. Bad deals avoided counts analyses that rated an item a pass because the estimated profit was zero or less. Our own test account is left out of every total. We update these totals by hand, so they trail the live numbers.
